Objective
Maximise the media coverage about the R-Evolution brand - a range of furnishing solutions and facilities for Modern Distribution's points of sales fully made up by recycled and recyclable matherials - on the occasion of the Gruppo Sistemi 2000 attendance to Ecomondo, the main italian fair dealing with ecosustainability, which took place in Rimini from 28 to 31 of October, 2009

Target
Media - main focus on TVs.

Strategy
Take advantage of the visibility chance offered by Ecomondo fair in order to increase the media coverage about R-Evolution brand, by focusing mainly on the patnership set up with Sma-Auchan group that lead to the creation of the first Italian 100% ecosustainable POS near Botticino (BS).

Activities
Aida Partners Ogilvy PR managed the Media Relations and press office before, during and after the eventi:

  • media involvement, by inviting journalists and TV crews to visit the fair and the Gruppo Sistemi 2000 booth;
  • interviews organization involving Mr.Sergio Lupi, President of Gruppo Sistemi 2000;
  • media relations management during the event;
  • follow up activity.

Results
Two main national TV broadcasters (Rai2 and Canale5) and one of the main press agencies web tv (AdnKronosTV) talked about R-Evolution e Gruppo Sistemi 2000 during their newscast edition.
